Downtown DeLand’s restaurant lineup got a new Vietnamese restaurant when Saigon Bistro opened at 111 E. Rich Ave.
The building was home to Hunter’s Restaurant, most recently, and to Bellini’s Deli for many years before that.
When the owners of Hunter’s decided to retire in May, Mike Tran, Le Truong and Evi Tran announced plans to bring a Vietnamese restaurant to the building.
The family also owns Funrolls Ice Cream & Boba at 2499 Enterprise Road in Orange City.
With family roots in DeBary, and a business in Orange City, Le said he is looking forward to expanding his business to DeLand.
